Pet Policy

This policy establishes the rules and conditions under which a pet may be kept at a PPM managed property. The policy may be changed at anytime and without notice.

 

The primary purpose of these rules are to establish reasonable requirements for the keeping of common household pets in order to provide a decent, safe, and sanitary environment for existing and prospective residents. Violations of this policy shall be considered a violation of a material term of the lease.

 

Only domesticated, common household pets will be considered. Pets of vicious or aggressive disposition deemed by management to be potentially harmful to the health and safety of others are prohibited.

 

  • CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

  • PET MAXIMUM WEIGHT LIMIT: 30 LBS
  • MAXIMUM # OF PETS PER PROPERTY: 2


BREED RESTRICTIONS APPLY (according to landlord insurance policy; restrictions to include (but not limited) to the following):

  • Pit Bulls & Staffordshire Terriers
  • Doberman Pinschers
  • Rottweilers
  • Chows
  • Great Danes
  • Presa Canarios
  • Akitas
  • Alaskan Malamutes
  • German Shepherds
  • Siberian Huskies
  • Wolf-hybrids
  • Or a mix of any of the above



FEES:

  • 1st pet: $500 ($250 pet deposit - Refundable + $250 Pet Fee (non-refundable) + $30 pet rent
  • 2nd pet: $300 ($150 pet deposit - refundable + $150 Pet Fee (non-refundable) + $30 pet rent


A welcoming environment is paramount to all of our residents. To help ensure ALL of our residents understand our pet and animal-related policies, we use a third-party screening service and require EVERYONE to complete a profile (No Pet/Pet/Animal). This process ensures we have formalized pet and animal-related policy acknowledgments and more accurate records to create greater mutual accountability.

Residents MUST obtain approval PRIOR to moving a pet into a property. If approved, the resident is responsible for the following:

 

  1. Completing a Petscreening.com profile
  2. Paying the deposit and repairing any damage the pet may cause.
  3. Keeping the pet under control at all times.
  4. Cleaning up after the pet inside and outside the premises.
